Rubber rollers can be classified in various ways. One common method divides them into general-purpose rubber and special rubber. Another classification separates them into general-purpose rubber, semi-universal rubber (also known as large variety special rubber), and special rubber (also called small variety special rubber).
Additionally, based on the presence or absence of double bonds in the molecular chain, rubber can be categorized into unsaturated rubber and saturated rubber. Unsaturated rubber, due to its double bonds, is highly reactive with vulcanizing agents and exhibits fast vulcanization. However, it is also more susceptible to aging and has lower heat resistance. Despite this, it offers high elasticity and good cold resistance.
