The "Fifth Baoan Fuyong Furniture Festival," organized by the Baoan District People's Government, Fuyong Subdistrict Office, and the Fuyong Furniture Industry Association, will kick off on December 6 and run through December 15. In 2009, the first Baoan Fuyong Furniture Festival was launched, marking a significant turning point for the local furniture industry. Today, the Fuyong International Furniture Village has grown into a massive commercial hub, covering over 400,000 square meters. It is home to seven major stores such as Fubon, Songbao, Lixingjiatianxia, Hongshuwan, Ou Meimei, Guanghui, and Xiangfujiang, featuring more than 8,000 furniture brands, including Red Apple, Chivas, Mu Si, and Kang Naideng. The area has earned numerous accolades, including "Meritorious Brand for Improving Home Life in Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation" and "Top Ten Innovation Brands in China’s Furniture Distribution Channels."
Over the years, Fuyong International Furniture Village has become a leader in South China, known for being the largest office furniture procurement base in the region, the largest software home retail platform, and the largest mahogany furniture museum in South China. To further strengthen its position, the Fuyong Furniture Association has partnered with the Shenzhen Furniture Association to create a strategic cooperation platform. This collaboration has brought in top designers and R&D teams, injecting cultural and creative elements into the industry. All funds raised will be donated to the "China Social Welfare Foundation Free Lunch" project under the name of Fuyong Furniture Village, inviting the community to join in this meaningful cause.
Furthermore, the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association has established a permanent presence at the event, while the Shenzhen Cultural Relics and Art Collection Association has set up a cultural exchange center in Hongshuwan International Furniture City. They will be offering a variety of art boutiques featuring ancient calligraphy, contemporary masterpieces, porcelain, jade, coins, wood carvings, and other antiques. These exhibitions and auctions have been widely appreciated by the public.
To enhance the cultural value of the furniture city, the association plans to host exhibitions, treasure fairs, calligraphy events, and collectibles auctions, turning the area into a cultural landmark in Shenzhen. Large-scale museums and exhibition halls are also in the works.
