Solar yacht officially put into use

On May 5th, a solar-powered yacht embarked on a journey through the picturesque waters of Penghu and Xiamen. This innovative vessel was proudly developed and launched by Xiamen Jieneng Boat Technology Co., Ltd., marking a significant milestone in sustainable maritime transportation. The yacht, crafted from fiberglass, measures 15 meters in length, 6 meters in width, and weighs approximately 3 tons. Positioned atop the yacht is a solar panel array spanning an impressive 90 square meters. This advanced system harnesses solar energy, converting it into electricity to power all onboard electrical systems. Boasting zero pollution, no noise, and absolutely no emissions, this eco-friendly yacht represents a major leap forward in green technology. As a testament to its success, the vessel has already begun regular operations, delighting passengers with its smooth and environmentally responsible rides.
