[China Superhard Materials News] On July 23, 2014, Ma Nanyang, General Manager of Jiaozuo Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd., Dr. Qi Chuanyi, and Deng Qing, General Manager of Changsha Hengfeng Superhard Materials Co., Ltd., were guests on China's Superhard Materials Network. They were warmly received by Liu Jinchang, the website’s general manager, and Shi Chao, executive deputy general manager. During the visit, the company representatives shared insights into their growth strategies and technological advancements. Jiaozuo Huajing currently employs over 100 staff members, including professors, certified public accountants, master’s degree holders, and more than 60 professionals with bachelor’s degrees or higher. This skilled team has been instrumental in driving the company’s rapid development. The company utilizes a high-precision pressure and temperature control system along with large-scale six-faced presses. It also employs its own independently developed alloy catalysts and artificial graphite. After three years of intensive research and development in a new experimental facility, Jiaozuo Huajing successfully produced large single crystal diamonds. This breakthrough places them among the top three global manufacturers, following British firm Element Six and Japanese company Sumitomo. With 35 sets of large-bore six-faced presses, the company produces 150,000 large single crystal diamonds annually, generating an output value of 40 million yuan. Their products are widely used in over 20 domestic precision tool factories and exported to countries such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, India, and Belgium. Deng Qing from Changsha Hengfeng Superhard Materials also shared the company’s progress. In early 2014, Hengfeng successfully acquired 30 mu of land for a new plant. Initially focused on synthetic diamond production, the company has since expanded into end-product development. This strategic shift aims to increase product value and better meet market demands. Liu Jinchang praised Jiaozuo Huajing for its innovative large single crystal diamond products, which he believes lay a strong foundation for future functional applications of diamonds. He also commended Changsha Hengfeng for its differentiated development approach, emphasizing customer satisfaction, energy efficiency, and environmental protection. Both companies expressed appreciation for the support provided by the China Superhard Materials Network and expressed a desire to strengthen collaboration in the future.
