1. Ordinary wire screw sleeve
Ordinary wire thread inserts are the basic type of wire thread inserts and are the most used (see Figure 22-7). According to actual needs, it can be divided into two types: a broken groove and a broken groove.
Under normal circumstances, all have a broken groove, and only when the blind hole is used to remove the mounting handle, the breaking groove can be not processed.

2, locking type wire screw sleeve
Make one or more turns of the middle part of the wire screw sleeve into a polygon, as shown in Figure 22-8. The screw is screwed into the screw hole of the wire screw. When the polygon is passed, the screw of the screw squeezes the polygon of the wire screw to generate friction. The screw acts as a lock.

3. Wire threaded sleeve for blind hole
The wire screw sleeve for blind hole is a new structure developed by China. It has no mounting handle and the tip is tapered. See Figure 22-9. During installation, a threaded rod with a tapered end is inserted into the wire screw sleeve, and the taper thread of the end of the mandrel is engaged with the tapered end of the wire screw sleeve, so that the wire screw sleeve can be directly screwed into the screw hole.

This wire screw sleeve has no mounting handle and there is no problem with the handle. After installation, the tapered part of the wire screw sleeve can be used to rotate the wire threaded sleeve with the internal thread of the incomplete buckle, so that the complete thread depth after the wire threaded sleeve is installed is the same as the tapping depth before installation. The tapered end has good guiding effect, easy installation, difficult to jump, and high installation efficiency, and is more suitable for electric or pneumatic installation tools.
The blind hole wire screw sleeve has two types: normal type and locking type.
4, with drive groove wire screw sleeve
The wire screw sleeve with drive groove is also called the tailless wire sleeve. The structure of the wire screw sleeve has no mounting handle, no broken groove, no guiding, and a driving groove is processed at the two Swiss heads of the wire screw sleeve body. Figure 22-10.

When installing, use special tools to clamp the drive grooves at both ends. First, screw the diameter of the wire screw sleeve and directly screw the screw hole.
This kind of wire screw sleeve is easy to screw in. But the rotation tool is complicated. Low efficiency and high cost. It can be used to limit the length of the thread and remove the blind hole which is difficult to install the handle. There is no corresponding standard in China.
5, double wire screw sleeve
The double wire screw sleeve structure is added with a layer of wire thread insert outside the standard wire screw sleeve, see Figure 22-11, and the internal thread of the outer wire thread insert is based on the internal thread size of the standard wire screw sleeve. , then increase 1.299P, the size of the outer wire threaded sleeve surface is the same as the standard wire threaded profile.
