5. The coating used for recoating is generally preferably the same as the coating used for the initial coating. Other types of coatings that conform to the supporting principle can be applied to the old paint film, but the experiment must be carried out in advance. If epoxy is used as a primer, various types of coatings can be applied to it, but in order to prevent poor adhesion, a "transition layer" can be applied.
