Air motor use precautions

1. Fluid type: Air
2. Freezing pressure: 6 kg/cm²
3. Maximum operating pressure: 7 kg/cm²
4. Ambient temperature range: 0°C to 80°C
5. Lubricating oil: Use clean 30-weight engine oil.
6. Continuous operation: Possible, but not recommended at high speeds.
7. Recommended speed: No more than 80% of the maximum speed.
A. If the mixing shaft and the stirring blade of the air motor mixer are mismatched, it may lead to poor performance or malfunction.
B. The primary cause of air motor failure is usually moisture or dust entering the system. Before connecting the air line, ensure the air is filtered through an air cleaning tube. Avoid allowing cutting dust, broken tape pieces, dirt, or rust from entering the air pipe.
C. It's best to install auxiliary components like air filters, air dryers, lubricators, and flow valves as close to the air motor as possible.
D. The air supply line must include an air filter, a cold dryer, and an air lubricator. The lubricating oil should be clean 30-weight oil, with 1–2 drops per minute.
E. Direct air pressure supply may result in unstable pressure, leading to inconsistent horsepower, torque, or RPM. Therefore, an air pressure regulator is essential.
F. All air pressure equipment (air filters, air dryers, lubricators, control valves, etc.) must be sized appropriately to match the air motor’s consumption requirements.
G. To maintain stable speed control of the air motor, adjust the air supply and ensure there is no back pressure on the exhaust side.
H. During testing, use the air control valve to gradually increase the RPM to the desired level. Prolonged high-speed operation can damage the air motor and reduce its lifespan. Always pay attention to proper pressure usage.

Maintenance tips:
A. Regularly check the air lubricator on the air supply line. If the oil level has dropped significantly, replace it immediately.
B. Inspect all connections and seals for wear or damage. Replace any faulty parts promptly.
C. Keep the area around the air motor clean and free from debris.
D. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
E. Always turn off the air supply before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
F. Document all maintenance activities and keep a log for future reference.
G. Ensure that the air motor is properly grounded to prevent electrical issues.
H. Never operate the air motor without proper lubrication. This can cause severe internal damage and shorten the unit’s life.
