Waste oil conversion biodiesel standard lack of raw materials

The use of "ditch oil" to produce biodiesel will be an effective way to curb the misuse of "ditch oil" and the misuse of "toxic oil." In addition to cooking waste oil, leftovers such as cakes and pies left by consumers in fast food restaurants can also be converted into clean energy. Despite this, industry sources stated that due to lack of industry standards and shortage of raw materials, China's biodiesel production capacity exceeds 3 million tons, and the actual output is only 30 to 35 tons.

Recently, the UK Green Energy Company “turns waste into treasure”. It extracts edible oil from food residues to make biodiesel. After mixing with ordinary diesel, it sells biodiesel to local gas stations and can produce about 10 billion liters of oil per year. Biodiesel blends.

In Beijing, supported by the China Development Bank, the 100,000 tons bio-diesel project invested by China Delihua Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was unveiled in Beijing recently. The investment scale of this project is 138.26 billion yuan. The raw material for production is the waste oil produced by Beijing's catering industry. It is expected that the amount of waste oil on daytime will reach 200 tons.

Lu Xinuo, chairman of China Delihua Petrochemical Co., Ltd., told reporters that the current industrialization of biodiesel using waste oil has been strongly supported by national policies. In the mid- and long-term development plan for renewable energy announced by the National Development and Reform Commission, biofuels will replace 2 million tons of oil in 2010, and will replace 10 million tons of oil in biofuels in 2020. On April 26, 2011, the “Industrial Structure” announced by the National Development and Reform Commission The Adjustment Guidance Catalog (2011 Edition) will encourage the development of non-food biomass fuels in the catalogue; the State Administration of Taxation has issued a preferential consumption policy of 240 yuan/ton on the basis of the Catalogue of Catalogue for the Development of Renewable Energy Industries.

According to industry sources, there is no national standard for biodiesel that is operative in China. When major oil companies sell, biodiesel is basically not taken into account. In addition, the provision of a stable supply of raw materials for biodiesel is also a top priority. It is recommended that government agencies formulate and implement specific regulations on waste oil collection and disposal as soon as possible.
