Wood lacquer is mainly divided into two categories: furniture lacquer and floor lacquer.
1. Nitrocellulose paint: There are two kinds of nitro varnish and nitro solid paint. The varnish varnish is used for transparent painting of indoor furniture, and the nitro solid paint is used for opaque painting. It is dried and formed into a film by volatilization of solvent. It is characterized by fast drying, high hardness, wear resistance and water resistance, but the construction process is complicated, and the heat resistance, cold resistance and alkali resistance are not high.
Second, alkyd paint: mainly used to paint interior doors and windows, mid-range furniture. It is characterized by good gloss, adhesion, durability and insulation, but the paint film is soft, the drying speed is slow, it is not resistant to water and heat, and it can not be polished, so it is not suitable for external use.
Third, polyurethane resin paint: mainly used for floor paint, high-grade furniture, piano surface coating. It is characterized by bright film, good abrasion resistance, strong adhesion, solvent resistance, corrosion resistance, water resistance, cold resistance and high hardness. The disadvantage is that the drying is slow, the gloss retention and the color retention performance are poor. Commonly used are polyurethane varnish and polyurethane solid paint.
4. Polyester paint: It is mainly used for surface coating of high-grade furniture, piano and sewing machine table. It is characterized by rich and thick paint film, high gloss, gloss retention and transparency. It can fully express wood grain, high hardness of paint film, good wear resistance, light retention and moisture retention, and high heat resistance and cold resistance. Water resistance, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance. The disadvantage is that the adhesion is not good, the coating film is hard and brittle and cannot withstand too heavy impact force, and is not easy to repair.
5. Acrylic resin lacquer: It is a high-grade wood lacquer. High-gloss lacquer can be made by adding fluorescent pigment. It is characterized by light color, good color retention, good resistance to ultraviolet light and heat resistance, bright and hard paint film, strong adhesion and convenient construction. The disadvantage is that the paint film is brittle and the cold resistance is poor.
