Recycled plastic production issues need to be two-pronged

As early as 2012, the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” proposed “the recovery rate of major renewable resources increased to 70%”. The "13th Five-Year Plan" draft states: "To develop a green environmental protection industry, foster service entities, promote energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, support technological equipment and service model innovation, improve policy mechanisms, and promote the development of energy-saving and environmental protection industries." Recycled plastics with environmentally-friendly characteristics seem to be able to sit in the right place, but in the production process, a large amount of waste gas, waste water, noise, etc. will be generated, which will pollute the environment. How can we effectively improve this situation?

For this problem, it needs to be solved in two aspects. From the microscopic aspect, the production of recycled plastics is mainly based on small manufacturers and workshops. The production scale is relatively small and the production cost is low. In the 30 years of development of recycled plastics, the production methods have not been effectively improved, and waste plastics are still used. The melting granulation is mainly produced and manufactured. The recycling cost of waste plastics is strong, and its cost is highly correlated with the raw material market. As a result, its production cost is large, the profit margin of the manufacturer is unstable, and the economic situation has a great impact on it. It is quite difficult to carry out on the road of industrial upgrading. In the rectification of major recycled plastics markets before the year, the environmental protection departments required manufacturers to increase environmental protection facilities, which caused some manufacturers to suspend production and rectification. At the same time, in the relatively poor market environment of recycled plastics last year, many manufacturers were under pressure, resulting in production suspension or transfer. Therefore, environmental protection measures need to be implemented urgently. As a manufacturer, it is imperative to pay attention to the gradual improvement in the daily production process, actively promote the upgrading of its own industry and protect the environment.

From a macro perspective, the recycled plastics market is more mixed, and the government should introduce corresponding policies to change this chaos. At the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, Hebei Province required the rectification measures for recycled plastics manufacturers to relocate to the recycled plastics production industrial park. This has quickly slowed down the environmental problems of recycled plastics manufacturers to a certain extent, but such measures cannot fundamentally solve this problem. The government should strengthen the propaganda of environmental protection issues. First, let everyone take psychologically attention to environmental protection issues. Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen the promulgation and implementation of laws and regulations, and emphasize it from the policy level. Finally, government functional departments need to strengthen their own sense of responsibility. Increase supervision, help and guide enterprises to transform their industries, and help the market to establish and improve the market and regulations of recycled plastics market, so as to move toward institutionalization and standardization.
