The Sun Ark is a hybrid-powered aircraft designed to provide low-cost, high-load, long-distance freight services for remote areas. It creates a new mode of transportation that does not have to rely on fuel, roads and runways to reach aircraft, trucks, ships and places where airships cannot reach.
Under the agreement, Canada will work with Sun Ark to evaluate the performance of the Sun Ark under the Canadian Local Innovation Program, which will include the transportation of important materials in the rescue and rescue operations and the ability to assist the Royal Canadian Air Force in carrying out international humanitarian rescue missions.
Jay Godsol, founder and CEO of Sun Ark, said that since 2009, the Sun ark has been working with former Royal Canadian Air Force pilots, engineers, and operators to improve the ability of the Sun ark to perform rescue missions.
