New 45 kW car fuel cell engine passed the test

Recently, the newly developed 45-kilowatt fuel cell engine for Dalian Xinyuan Power Co., Ltd. successfully passed the test and acceptance at the New Energy Automobile Engineering Center of Tongji University in Shanghai. In hot weather with an ambient temperature of above 35 °C, the engine is stable at a rated power of 45 kW for 40 minutes, with a total voltage of 365 volts and an engine efficiency of 44.9%.
In recent years, Xinyuan Power Company has made bold explorations and practices in the fuel cell engine system for high-pressure, medium- and low-pressure cars, engine automatic control systems, mass production processes for key components, key raw material production technologies, and market-oriented product development. Significant progress has been made in the study of key technologies for key components of auxiliary systems, MEA, bipolar plates, catalysts and manufacturing processes. The newly developed 45 kW car fuel cell engine made bold improvements and innovations in system layout, cell stack structure, MEA, humidification design and system control, and was the first in China to develop a flat layout 45 kW car. Fuel cell engine, this layout has the advantages of easy maintenance, saving and making full use of space, suitable for car use.
