Notes: 1. Steel is typically delivered in hot-rolled condition. 2. Quenching and tempering systems are as follows: - 20MnVK: Round steel is quenched at (880±20)°C and tempered at (300±30)°C, followed by air or water cooling. Flat steel is quenched at 880–900°C and tempered at (450±30)°C, then cooled with air or fire. - 24Mn2K: Oil quenched at (850±20)°C, tempered at 400–420°C, and cooled with water. 3. The mechanical properties (tensile strength, yield point, elongation) of 30Mn2K in hot-rolled state should be specified in the quality certificate. 4. This type of steel is suitable for the manufacture of coal mine conveyor equipment and support structures.
