We have always felt that it is a difficult problem to design a flat die and a trimming die for flat-plate parts. As shown in Figure 1, there is no locating hole on the part 1, which can only be positioned by the blank shape. If the left end is positioned with a general cylindrical pin (Fig. 2), the scraped edge 3 that is washed down will be stuck between the positioning pin 2 and the punch 8 and cannot be discharged. Therefore, this positioning method cannot be used.
