First-year net profit of Gazprom increased by 74%

According to the Russian RBC report on August 3 in Moscow, Russia’s fifth-largest oil company and Russia’s energy giant Gazprom (Gazprom)’s oil subsidiary Gazprom Neft (Gazprom Neft) In a statement today, Gazprom’s net profit calculated in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) increased by 74% over the same period of last year.

The statement said that the major reason for the substantial increase in the net profit of Russian gas in the first half of the year was the increase in EBITDA revenue by 58%. The increase in EBITDA revenue was mainly due to the increase in refinery volume, optimization of sales structure and improvement of market conditions.

As a result of increased sales and rising prices of petroleum and petroleum products, Gazprom’s revenue in the first half of this year increased by 39% year-on-year to reach US$ 21.34 billion.
