Polysilicon prices have once again fallen this week. The domestic mainstream price of polysilicon is 16-18 million yuan/ton, and the international mainstream price of polysilicon is 20-26 dollars/kg. Due to the large-scale production reduction or discontinuation of photovoltaic enterprises, the demand for polysilicon has been sluggish, and the price has dropped again. Individual polysilicon companies began to stock up due to tight capital chains, and the market price was as low as 150,000 yuan/ton. The industry believes that if the market continues to be sluggish, more SMEs will be cleared at a lower price, causing further price declines. At present, the operating rate of domestic polysilicon enterprises is less than 15%. After the second quarter, polysilicon plants have stopped production. The remaining polysilicon enterprises are also controlling production in varying degrees, and strive to reduce corporate losses. The Silicon Industry Branch believes that although the market outlook does not rule out the low price clearance of individual companies, dragging down prices further, but the mainstream market prices have basically fallen to the bottom, and the future price floating space is extremely limited.
