HVAC and water cooling system testing

As the main workplace of the server room, temperature is an important factor affecting the communication effect. In order to fully grasp the temperature rise of the engine room and prevent server downtime risk, and consider the reasons for energy saving, the accelerator engine room selects the optimal cooling scheme among different cooling schemes to create the best green machine room.

Test content:

1. Central air conditioning system

1)
Functional test: chiller operation test, chiller safety test, chiller fault test, chiller simple alarm test, refrigeration pump fault test, cooling pump fault test;

2)
Under the conditions of full load of the IT cabinet, the cooling tower water flow, tower inlet water temperature, outlet tower water temperature, and air flow into the tower are tested to test the efficiency of the cooling tower;

3)
Under the full load condition of the IT cabinet, the load of the simulation system changes, the cold source system automatically adds or subtracts the load, and the parameters such as freezing, cooling inlet and outlet water temperatures, operating current, etc. of the different load conditions of the refrigerator are tested to test the efficiency of the air conditioning system;

4)
After the central air-conditioning host shuts down the water pump operation IT room temperature rise situation (records per minute);

5) After the central air conditioner main engine stops
IT room temperature rise (records per minute);

6) Test the system switching status after the failure of the air conditioning main pipe,

2, precision air conditioning

1)
Testing and evaluation of cooling capacity of precision air conditioners;

3, air distribution in the engine room

1)
Room outlet air outlet temperature and humidity and wind speed; cold aisle, hot aisle and return air outlet temperature change collection;

2)
Collect temperature change data during on-site redundancy testing, and output the temperature change curve of the equipment room; obtain air conditioning energy efficiency data for a single engine room module;

4, security testing

1)
Accident leak test

The test area includes: below the air-conditioner, under the humidity machine, water blocking cofferdams, and air-conditioning ducts .

Test method: Simulate leaking water in the detection rope, detect whether the system has an alarm signal. Record table see Schedule 3

2) Single point of failure

Single point of failure definition: that is, a node in the air conditioning system between the columns fails. Including the following aspects:

·Air conditioning failure or power failure

• The single air conditioner chilled water cannot be circulated due to maintenance or other reasons, but the fan can guarantee operation; when a single point of failure occurs, the temperature rise of the cabinet air inlet should not exceed 2°C.
