Daily troubleshooting of pressure transmitters and analysis of causes

Recently, many customers purchase pressure transmitters, often ask questions about the causes of pressure transmitter failures. Now the company's technical department may have no problems such as signal, error or signal interference during the use of pressure transmitters. The following issues have been investigated for such problems for reference.

First, the pressure transmitter has no output
1. Check if the polarity of the transmitter is reversed.
2. Check the voltage at the output of the power supply to meet the requirements.
3. If it is with a meter, see if it is damaged.
4, check the circuit loop current is normal
5. Is the power cord loose?

Second, the pressure transmitter output is greater than 20mA
1. Check the power supply (the inspection method is the same as the previous one)
2. Does the actual measured pressure exceed the range?
3. Check if the wiring is loose and tighten
4, the power wiring is connected to the corresponding terminal

Third, the pressure transmitter output is less than or greater than 4mA
1. Is the power supply normal? If the power supply output is too small, check whether the circuit has a large load, and its input impedance should meet RL ≤ (transmitter supply voltage -12V) / (0.02A) Ω
2. Whether the actual measured pressure exceeds the range during the overload condition, it is easy to cause the product to return to zero abnormally, which will be greater than the initial zero position; sometimes serious overload will cause damage, and should be returned to the factory for repair.

Fourth, the pressure transmitter indicates instability
1. In this case, the transmitter should be damped and adjusted. After the adjustment, if the situation is not changed, it needs to be re-examined to see if the sensor is damaged. Finally, check if there is strong electromagnetic interference nearby. Improper handling can result in system failure or malfunction.

Coal  and coke
Coal is a naturally-found fossil fuel that is formed by the anaerobic decay of plant life taking place over millions of years. The energy released when the fuel is burned comes from the initial solar energy that remains stored in the hydrocarbons contained in coal. Coke is what remains when the impurities in coal, such as coal-tar and coal-gas, are removed by high temperatures in an oxygen-free furnace. The absence of oxygen during the process prevents the coal from burning. Unlike coal, coke can be burned with little or no smoke.
