Controlling lotus aphids

After the summer harvest, the locusts migrated into the lotus roots where the leaves were tenderer and the leaves were greener. The recent high temperature is conducive to the breeding of aphids. At present, at the peak of the occurrence of aphids in lotus field, the prevention and control of lotus aphids should be carried out quickly to ensure the steady growth of lotus roots. Prevention:

1. Remove the weeds in the fields and the ridges in time, and manually remove the duckweed fields;

2. Use 10% imidacloprid wet powder 12~15 grams or other insecticide with systemic action to spray with water. If you have the conditions, you can also insert a yellow board to trap every 10 meters on the farm.

Because the wax layer of eucalyptus leaves is thicker, a little detergent powder must be added during dispensing to improve the adhesion of the liquid. At present, the aphids are controlled, because the leaves are tender, and the dosage should not be increased arbitrarily to avoid phytotoxicity of the burnt leaves. It is strictly forbidden to spray high-toxic pesticides such as omethoate on the leaves.
