Structural Components of the Chamber Filter Press

Each filter plate is equipped with handles on both sides, allowing it to be easily mounted onto a beam and moved horizontally along it. The front end of the piston rod is connected to the movable pressing plate, which is driven by hydraulic pressure to apply force to the entire filter assembly. After the hydraulic pressure is applied, the system locks using a nut to maintain the pressure (mechanical pressure). Once the hydraulic pump is turned off, the filtration process begins.
For achieving a dry filter cake, compressed air is typically used to remove any remaining moisture after the filtration cycle.
