Problems should be paid attention to when applying fertilizer outside the roots

1. Spray concentration. When fertilizing outside the roots, the concentration of the solution must vary depending on the stage of the crop and its growth and development. Too high a concentration can easily burn the leaves, and the concentration is too low, which increases the workload and does not meet the nutritional requirements of supplement crops. For example, the spraying concentration of potassium dihydrogen phosphate on citrus is 0.2 to 0.3%, and the spraying concentration on vegetables is 0.1 to 0.5%.
2. Spray method. It is mainly necessary to grasp that the fertilizer should be fully dissolved and evenly mixed, and the fog point should be evenly distributed when spraying, so that it is better to spray the leaves of the crop without dripping water.
3. Spraying period. It depends on the demand for nutrients at different developmental stages of the crop. For example, grape can be sprayed with nitrogen from germination, spreading leaves and before and after flowering. Spraying phosphorus in the long-term and long-term buds of the new shoots is beneficial to the grape fruit, and the fruit is large and sweet.
4, spraying time. Should choose no windy cloudy day or humidity, evaporation is small before 9:00 am and after 4 pm, if it rains within 3 to 4 hours after spraying, it must be refilled.
5. Spraying parts. Focus on the upper and middle leaves, especially the opposite side of the blade. If the fertilizer is sprayed on the fruit trees, focus on the new shoots and the upper leaves.
