Four basis for purchasing compound fertilizer

First, soil traits. For soils with slightly alkaline, low organic matter content and low nitrogen and phosphorus deficiency, acid nitrogen and phosphorus compound fertilizers such as monoammonium phosphate or humic acid NPK fertilizers and nitrogen and phosphorus compound fertilizers should be used. A small number of red clay and acid brown soil should use alkaline compound fertilizer, such as diammonium phosphate.
Second, crop varieties. Generally, the field crops use nitrogen-phosphorus compound fertilizer, wheat or high-yield tons of grain fields, NPK ternary compound fertilizer should be used; dense crops such as wheat and rice should be used as powder compound fertilizer; and thin cropping crops such as corn should use granules. Compound fertilizer; vegetables, especially fruits and vegetables, and root vegetables and fruit trees require more potassium. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizers with higher potassium and lower nitrogen should be used.
Third, the nature of compound fertilizer. The state stipulates that the effective nutrient content of standard compound fertilizer, the total concentration of high concentration of NPK ≥40%, the low concentration of ternary NPK ≥25%, the binary NPK content ≥20%, and does not include trace elements And medium amount, water-soluble phosphorus content ≥ 40%, moisture content less than 5%. When purchasing compound fertilizer, in addition to looking at the trademark and nutrient content, you should also pay attention to the manufacturer and the place of origin. In addition, there are two kinds of potassium in the compound fertilizer, one is potassium chloride and the other is potassium sulfate. Where there is no "S" symbol on the composite fertilizer bag, the potassium contained in it is potassium chloride type potassium, and the chlorine crops such as grapes, potatoes, tobacco, beets, etc. must not be applied; where the fertilizer bag is marked with " The S" symbol, a compound fertilizer consisting of potassium sulphate.
Fourth, fertilization methods. For the application of base fertilizer, granular compound fertilizer is used, and the hardness of the particles is as high as possible. For example, the hardness of diammonium in the United States is the largest and the fertilizer efficiency is the longest. For topdressing application, powdered compound fertilizer should be used, and the water-soluble phosphorus contained in the fertilizer should be greater than 40%, and nitrogen should be composed of ammonia nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen.
